Got my first call today and have onboarding on Monday. The job said it was civil work what tools should I bring with me.

When do you know you’re gonna get laid off. Do they give you a heads up or is it just they tell you day of. The job I’m working on is coming to an end after 4 months and they have not said a word about another contract.
