From my observations it seems like this is lost on most Arams players. Don’t get me wrong sometimes the tower is toast either way but a lot of time if you clear the 4 minions they can’t take it without getting blasted by the tower.
From my experience it’s Morgana players and as someone who never plays that champ I don’t know why.

I don’t really ever see a need for anything else. Even with an ADC I’d rather have a gap closer or escape every 30 secs over a flash.
For me I have to say AP Maokai is the worst throw build in the game when we needed a tank. What’s the auto loss build for you ?
My reasoning is I don’t play SR so this is my way to play league. While it’s still a joke mode I play to win and don’t need augments etc that make it feel way too cartoonish. Which do you prefer and why?
