Protective for Metacarpals

Protective for Metacarpals

Hello,

I’m looking for protective gloves. Rival RS11V seems to be a good option, but I hear a lot about the following things; could anyone tell me with experience?

- QC issues?
- Stink issues? I always air my gloves out etc. Will they still go bad stinking quite early?
- Hard to make a good fist? Even after break in period?

Also, what would alternatives be? I’m based in Europe. Heard a lot about Hit ‘N Move Agility and Balance, but there is no place to try them out. And quite risky to order without trying I guess? Or are they blind buy worthy?

Same goes for Phenom and Paffen…

Glory with 4 oz gloves

Is there a specific Glory hasn’t switched to 4oz gloves, like One uses for Muay Thai and UFC uses for MMA?

I like 4oz gloves because they make the fight a lot more realistic in regards to guards.

Turtle shell high guard, which is unrealistic, is almost impossible to do with 4oz.

BTW: Maybe also add elbows while you’re at it and go full muay thai? I understand not wanting fighters to clinch too much (I like it, but most casuals don’t, so bad for viewership), but elbows would bring nothing but MORE spectacular scenes, right?

Only ban them in tournaments. Allow them in regular fights, right?

I see Top King shinguards recommended a lot. However, I don’t know which model is the best one.

All (the expensive ones) seem to be made from leather, right?

Which one is the best?
