I replaced the chrome emblem with black, and peace and harmony have been restored in the world. In my opinion, it pairs well with the other black accents and it's how they should come from the factory.

Edit for more info: In case anyone needs the part number, the one I got was 08F20-T90-100.

The swap was surprisingly easy, I used 15lb test braided fishing line to remove the old one. Rubbing alcohol for the leftover adhesive. Clean well, remove old center pins, install new emblem (pins included). It's basically impossible to install crooked thanks to the pins.
