EPM consultant VS Support

I've got over 10+ years of experience in Oracle EPM support from various product companies, but I've never actually worked on an EPM implementation project since most of my roles have been support-focused. I'm looking for advice from experts: with my background, should I aim for an implementation role, or keep pursuing EPM support positions at product companies?

Career Advice

Need Career Advice - 15 Years in Oracle EPM which has multiple MODULES and used for planning budgeting and reporting and this has its own data integration or ETL TOOL, I am exploring Data & AI Roles using my current experience. As I don't want to continue with the functional support or jst as counsultant

I have 15 years of IT experience and currently work as support lead role supporting oracle EPM enterprise planning and reporting applications.

Most of my work which I like to work in project:

Data integration and data pipelines

Source-to-target mappings and transformations

Data quality and issue investigation

Production support and incident management

Performance optimization

Process automation

SQL(very basics)

Metadata management

Leading a team

The part of my job I enjoy most is understanding how data moves across systems, troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing processes and automating manual work.

The part I enjoy less IN my work is finance area or business reporting, dashboard development, KPI creation and heavy domain consulting.

I'm exploring career options that can leverage my existing experience rather than starting over.

Some areas I'm considering:

Data Integration Lead

Data Engineering Lead

Data + AI related roles

Or any other role or anything from snowflake side

Questions:

Which of these paths would be the most realistic transition for someone with my background?

Which skills should I focus on over the next 6-12months?

Is Data Engineering a realistic move at this stage of my career, or should I target lead/architect roles instead in data field?

Are there emerging Data + AI roles that focus on data pipelines, integrations and enterprise systems rather than machine learning model development

Would really appreciate advice from people who have made a similar transition or currently work in these area

Data engineer CIBC BGV query

Can anyone confirm the specific background checks conducted by CIBC? One of my friend recently received an offer from the new CIBC GCC Hyderabad office, but there are mixed reviews regarding their background check process. Specifically, he is concerned about a past CIBIL record that has since improved but has resulted in future loan ineligibility due to it being primarily settled ,Will this negatively impact the background check? Mostly all loans were settled.
