Check if your old utility deposit is still sitting there

Was going through my electric bill because the numbers looked weird and noticed the deposit I paid when I first moved in was still on the account. I called mostly because I had no idea what it meant.

Apparently after enough on time payments I was eligible to have the $180 applied back as a credit, but nobody ever contacted me about it. I literally just had to ask.

Opening the next bill and seeing basically nothing due felt amazing lol.

today was actually unhinged and i need to debrief

okay so i locked myself out this morning, waited 45 mins for my landlord in my pajamas while my neighbor just stared at me from his window the whole time. didn't say anything. just watched. weird guy.

showed up late to work, spilled coffee on myself within the first 20 minutes, and THEN found out my coworker has been presenting my ideas in meetings i wasnt invited to. like full on "yes i came up with that" energy.

drove home, got a parking ticket on the way, and when i checked my bank i panicked for a second before remembering i moved some saved up money to a different account last week so i wasnt actually broke just stupid

anyway im fine. i think. today really said let me humble you real quick and i just had to take it
