So I've been trying out playing in a band with the school of rock as an adult amateur musician and tried drums last season on 2 songs (i mainly play bass) had some fun doing some basic drum songs but this season there isn't a drummer and 2 bass players so I was asked to drum more and some of the songs seem wildly more difficult (for a newbie) looking for suggestions on a practice routine or skills I should be focusing on. Some of the proposed songs are Heartbreaker by Pat Benatar Valarie by Amy Winehouse and Under my thumb ( Streatheart cover )
