Getting unemployed but somehow stocks and companies are doing well.

Can some explain how this is happening? I understand that there are massive layoffs due to the rise of AI replacing jobs and what not and it does seem like we are entering a bit of a crisis with the Iran war as well. So why is the stock market hitting all time highs despite all these problem?

Can anyone who understands economics explain to me why this is happening? Feeling unjust seeing headlines of stocks or companies doing well while most of us low-middle income families are struggling with the current job market. Is it just the rich getting richer again?
