I’m looking into an inflatable hot tub and considering what it will sit on. My question is, can I build a raised deck,basically a box with crossmembers, filled in gravel and topped with deck boards to hold it? I don’t necessarily want to place it right on the gravel and I could stain the deck boards to match my deck so it could still be used when the hot tub is put away

I’ve got an hrx217 that is starting to surge and seems to be getting tired. I’m going to try cleaning the carb and possibly replacing it, but if that fails would a GCX 160 work as a replacement?
