Dear Jeremy, In America…

Does England or other parts of American NOT allow sprinklers for their crops? Are they really that reliant upon organic vs proactive watering?

Luca Cordero di Montezemolo verdict: “If I were to say what I really think, it would be unpleasant, so I prefer not to comment. I just hope someone removes the Prancing Horse from that car. We risk destroying a legend, which saddens me greatly. At least this is a car the Chinese won’t copy!"

I agree. The only way that car looks acceptable is as a NYPD police car but again without the prancing horse.

Behold My HoloScope FlawFinder camera/video MicroScope.

Here is the revised version with those sections removed and the tone cleaned up further:

After sending hundreds of cards into TAG grading, I started realizing a lot of the cards I was completely confident would get 10s were coming back much lower than expected. Once I started really digging through the DIG reports, I realized they were revealing flaws I genuinely could not see with the tools I normally used. My bright LED pen light and built in UV light just were not catching a lot of the tiny surface issues, holo scratches, print lines, and edge imperfections TAG was seeing.

That eventually led me to build the HoloScope FlawFinder.

I wanted something specifically designed for TCG collectors and investors that was portable, easy to use, and not some giant scientific microscope setup. The HoloScope uses white LED and UV inspection modes to make flaws stand out in ways I honestly had not seen before. It can also capture photos and video and connect to a computer so I can back up the condition of cards before sending them off for grading.

The biggest thing this has done for me is save money. I have stopped sending in cards that looked flawless to the naked eye but clearly had issues once inspected properly. It has also saved me from buying expensive raw cards that would never grade high enough to make sense financially.

Ironically, it has also helped me spot PSA 9s that looked way cleaner than they should have been. I cracked a few of them, sent them into TAG, and they came back as TAG 10s. That alone made this project worth it for me.

One thing I did not expect was how interesting it would be discovering printing defects and manufacturing inconsistencies across different sets. Once you start seeing this stuff, you really cannot unsee it anymore.

Right now I am only selling them through eBay while I finish setting up my own store. I also have reviews there from other collectors who have been using it already if anyone wants to check them out:

Curious what other people here are using for card inspection and whether anyone else has had the same experience with DIG reports exposing flaws you completely missed beforehand.
