I know it has been a long time. Possibly no one wants to be reminded of what it was like, but my dad served five tours of duty on the Batfish. He passed many years ago, but I would like to reach out to anyone who shared that experience. Not even sure why, but it feels important to me.

So, just starting in the hobby again. Undertaker bees seem to be dropping some of their dead on my patio. However, I get a couple of bees in the morning who seem young and unable to fly. My hive is up on a metal stand.
I’m theorizing that these walking bees may be new or nurse bees that fell off the landing board. Being unable to fly or climb back up they walked over to the patio where I found them.
Thoughts?
