Collider Interview: With 1.4 Billion Views, Greg Davies & Alex Horne Aren’t Changing ‘Taskmaster’
There is a text summary of the video but it's not in order and strangely not quite accurate, so best to just watch the video.

Tl;dr: Hobbii stole a crocheter's own video of her Hobbii purchase and used it to run a paid ad. They didn't pay her, promised it would be removed (and agreed compensation for the ad already run), then reran the ad anyway. They still haven't paid her. (I chose the Yarn flair since that's Hobbii's main business, but please let me know if another one would have been more appropriate.)
For a while the release date was the 27th July and I was actually starting to look forward to being able to watch it properly, but when I checked yesterday, it had turned into "Sorry, this content is unavailable". Booooo.
(Taskmaster New Zealand remains resolutely "unavailable", of course, as it has for months already.)

I can't work out exactly what sort of event it is; it says headlined by Alex Horne but doesn't say if it's a mix of standup and/or other comedy or a whole actual Taskmaster-style evening (or something else entirely, but the Tuskmaster title does strongly imply something Taskmastery).
Friday 25th September 7pm, at Garsington Studios, High Wycombe. Tickets £50 + Eventbrite fees https://www.eventbrite.com/e/tuskmaster-raising-the-roof-for-rhinos-no-laughing-matter-tickets-1985498528547
I've been catching up on a weekly BBC news programme presented by Bradley Walsh yesterday 13th June 2026, and they just announced that the government plans to make a British Mount Rushmore, with Winston Churchill, Dame Helen Mirren, Sir David Attenborough, and William Shakespeare! Other influential people considered by the Department for Culture, Media and Sports (DCMS) for having had a significant impact on British Culture were Hugh Grant, Princess Diana, Queen Camilla, Ian McKellan, and The Queen of Essex Gemma Collins.
There was also a really cool item reporting on a local supermarket (Amazon A-Z) that stocks all its food alphabetically. That's why the potatoes are next to the oranges, onions, and quinoa. I think it's an amazing initiative! It will make shopping so much simpler for many people, whether due to neurodivergence, being stressed with work, cognitive dysfunction from chronic illness, and so on. They still have ambient, refrigerated, and frozen sections of course, it would be far too inefficient to have teeny tiny fridges and freezers for each item, but everything within each section is alphabetical.
My favourite news item though was about the hospital that has a loyalty card scheme. Bradley Walsh only needs three more visits for a free hip replacement or colonoscopy! Colonoscopies are so important for detecting and catching bowel cancer early. And hip replacements are vital for mobility. It's really good they're doing them preventatively, so that nobody has to suffer in pain waiting for one whilst their bones wear away.
Another one from the press day they seem to have done:
I have searched and read through quite a few posts so I don't think I'm duplicating, but apologies if I am:
I've been looking for colourful masks available in the UK and all the options seemed to either not post here, or cost $80+(!!! Literally!) in shipping - except Kind masks, which are currently available to buy with under $10 postage to the UK.
I've only just purchased mine so I don't know if I can especially recommend them, but I just thought it was worth specifically stating that these could be an option for colourful masks here, as none of the other commonly recommended ones are.
Most of us have seen the video of the Taskmaster club in the hospital. Turns out, it's an official scheme developed in partnership with Taskmaster Education with tasks written by Alex and videos of him, just like the Taskmaster Club for schools and other educational settings! This at Frimley Park was a pilot and it can now be rolled out nationally.
