PSA: New Trial Deck Pre-Orders – This Is Your Chance to Get in at MSRP

PSA: New Trial Deck Pre-Orders – This Is Your Chance to Get in at MSRP

The official Palworld TCG account just dropped a major announcement, and I want to make sure no one misses this. https://x.com/PalworldOCG_EN/status/2090019415849111934

Trial Decks "Eternal Ascent" – Red・Green & Blue・Purple

The official Palworld TCG account just announced Trial Decks "Eternal Ascent" are coming December 18, 2026, but do not go looking for a "buy now" button online because pre-orders are not live on retail sites yet. This is exactly what happened with Set 1: they announce early to build interest so players start asking their local game stores about it. If you want to secure these at MSRP, the time to act is now. Call or visit your LGS, tell them you want to pre-order the Palworld Trial Decks (Red・Green and/or Blue・Purple), ask if they have allocations available, and lock it in with a deposit if they ask for one. LGSs order based on demand, so if no one asks, they order less, and that is how we end up with shortages and scalper prices again. Do not wait until December and complain it is sold out. Pre-ordering early is how you guarantee you actually get product at a fair price. Act now, not later.

Again, pre-orders are not live online yet. Call your LGS now and ask them to order it for you. That is how you increase your chances for MSRP pricing. Do not wait until December and complain it is sold out. The time to act is now.

Bushiroad prints to distributor orders, not consumer demand. LGSs submit pre-orders to distributors, distributors compile those numbers and send them to Bushiroad, and Bushiroad prints enough to fulfill those orders plus a small buffer (usually 10–15%) for replacements and a delayed "Wave 2" release. That means if LGSs under-order, the print run is small, and the product sells out instantly. If they over-order, product sits on shelves and prices crash. Bushiroad does not print more until they see sustained demand, and even then, reprints take months because printing slots are booked with future sets. This is why pre-ordering early is so critical.

Pro tip: Download the official Bushi Navi app, it has a store locator that shows you all the Bushiroad-authorized LGSs near you. Call or visit the ones that show up, tell them you want to pre-order the Palworld Trial Decks "Eternal Ascent" (Red・Green and/or Blue・Purple), and ask if they have allocations available. Lock it in with a deposit if they ask for one.

Gamenerdz delisted Set 2 Case pre-orders

It looks like Gamenerdz has delisted Set 2 Case pre-orders and are now only offering boxes limited to 6 per person.

What GameNerdz Is Actually Doing

Action What It Means
Delisted Set 2 case pre-orders They are no longer offering full cases. This is likely due to allocations being cut by distributors.
Only selling boxes at $120 (limit 6) They are raising prices above MSRP and limiting quantities.
Limit 6 boxes per customer They are trying to prevent scalpers from buying up all their allocation.

2. Why This Is Happening

Possible Reason Likelihood
Distributors cut allocations High. If demand for Set 2 is as strong as Set 1, distributors are rationing product to stores.
GameNerdz is testing higher prices Medium. They may be following the market trend,if boxes are selling for $200+ on eBay, they want a piece of that.
They are trying to prevent scalpers High. The limit of 6 boxes per customer is a clear anti-scalper move.
They are managing cash flow Low. This is not a sign of financial distress—it is a sign of supply scarcity.

3. What This Does NOT Mean

Misinterpretation Reality
"Set 2 is underperforming." If Set 2 were underperforming, they would have more product, not less.
"The game is dying." A dying game would have discounted boxes, not price increases.
"Bushiroad is failing." This is a supply issue, not a demand issue.

4. The Bigger Picture

Factor Implication
Set 2 allocations are tight Distributors are rationing product because demand is high.
GameNerdz is raising prices They are following the market
Limit 6 per customer They are actively fighting scalpers.
No case pre-orders Cases are being broken down into boxes to maximize reach.

PSA: How Bushiroad Actually Handles Reprints (Gold → Silver Stamps) and What It Means for Palworld Set 1 – The 11-Month Wait

I’ve seen a lot of confusion in this sub about when/if Bushiroad is going to reprint Palworld Set 1 to fix the "Palword" misprint. After watching how they handled Nikke Set 1, I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed.

Here is the cold, hard truth about how Bushiroad handles reprints, using Nikke as the textbook example, and exactly what that means for Palworld.

1. The Bushiroad Reprint Rule: "Gold Stamp Becomes Silver Stamp"

Bushiroad has a very clear, consistent policy for reprinting their TCGs (this applies to Weiss SchwarzCardfight!! VanguardNikke, and now Palworld).

  • 1st Edition / Initial Print Run: The booster boxes have a GOLD foil stamp that says "1st Edition." The pack wrappers also have the gold stamp. These have the boosted SEC/God Pack pull rates and exclusive box-topper promos (like the Marciana card in Nikke).
  • The "Reprint" / General Release Wave: Once the 1st Edition sells out, Bushiroad does NOT print more with the gold stamp. Instead, they change the stamp to SILVER (or remove the stamp entirely).

Why? Because they know collectors obsess over the gold stamp. By switching to silver, they protect the value of the 1st Edition while still allowing players to buy affordable product later. They do not hide this—it’s literally their business model.

2. The Nikke Example: Gold → Silver in 11 Months

Let’s look at Nikke: Goddess of Victory Set 1, because it is the most recent parallel.

  • March 2026: Nikke Set 1 "1st Edition" drops with the GOLD stamp, the Marciana promo, and boosted pull rates. It sells out almost instantly.
  • April 2026: Bushiroad releases "Wave 2" – but this is NOT a reprint. It is just the second half of the same 1st Edition print run that they held back. Still gold stamp. Still the Marciana promo.
  • May – December 2026: Bushiroad stays quiet. No reprints.
  • February 2027 (roughly 11 months after the initial release): Bushiroad finally announces a true reprint of Nikke Set 1.

Here is the catch: This reprint will NOT have the gold 1st Edition stamp. It will have a SILVER stamp (or no stamp at all), NO Marciana promo, and nerfed SEC/God Pack pull rates.

Bushiroad intentionally waits 11 months to do this so that:

  • They don't cannibalize Nikke Set 2 and Set 3 sales.
  • They protect the secondary market value of the 1st Edition gold-stamp boxes.
  • They give distributors and stores time to clear their existing inventory.

3. What This Means for Palworld Set 1 (The Misprint)

Now apply that exact same playbook to Palworld.

  • July 30, 2026: Palworld Set 1 drops with the GOLD "1st Edition" stamp. But there is a massive misprint—the box and pack wrappers say "Palword" instead of "Palworld."
  • August 2026: Bushiroad acknowledges the error and says "future prints will be corrected."
  • September – October 2026: Set 2 drops on October 30th. Bushiroad will NOT release a corrected Set 1 before this date because it would kill Set 2's sales.
  • November 2026 – June 2027: Bushiroad is focused on Sets 2, 3, and 4. They will not squeeze in a Set 1 reprint because the printing presses are booked solid.

The Prediction (Based on Nikke's Timeline):

  • June / July 2027 (roughly 11 months after the July 2026 release): Bushiroad will finally release the corrected "Reprint" of Palworld Set 1.

4. Here Is Exactly What That 2027 Reprint Will Look Like:

Feature July 2026 1st Edition (Misprint) June/July 2027 Reprint (Corrected)
Box Stamp GOLD "1st Edition" SILVER stamp or NO stamp
Pack Wrapper Text "Palword" (Misprint) "Palworld" (Corrected)
Pull Rates Boosted SEC / God Pack rates Standard, nerfed rates
Box-Topper Promo Exclusive promo card (if any) No promo, or a different one
Collector Value HIGH (Error variant, limited) Standard player's product

5. The Bottom Line

If you are a collector holding misprinted "Palword" boxes: Hold them. When the corrected silver-stamp reprint drops in mid-2027, your gold-stamp error boxes will become a rare "Phase 1 Error" variant and could actually go up in value.

If you are a player who just wants to build a deck: **Do NOT pay $200 for a box right now.** Wait for the June/July 2027 reprint. It will be at MSRP ($80–$90), have the corrected text, and be readily available.

But if you want to play competitively at the Set 2 launch on October 30th? You are going to have to buy singles or overpay for the misprint boxes. Bushiroad is not saving you. They have played this exact game with Nikke, and they are playing it again with Palworld.

TL;DR: Bushiroad reprints take ~11 months. Gold stamp → Silver stamp. Palworld corrected reprint = June/July 2027. Misprint boxes will be collector gold. Don't hold your breath for a 2026 reprint.
