someone help me with my rig

i just got into this band i have to play keyboards for…only problem is ive never played keyboards at a live show, ive played shows on bass but never keyboards so i dont have a live rig, i have a notation 88 key hooked up my scarlett with garageband (aka the most faulty software out there) and i have no speaker so im using an amplifier (but i am able to use it as an output) i have it connected to a quarter inch which is going into the 1 output on my interface and everything is connected properly but garageband refuses to recognize my midi controller it recognizes 1 midi input but refuses to be an option for an input on garageband, ive had this problem for a year but tried fixing it using ableton live lite as my software but all the sounds suck so i stopped using it and the problem wasnt much better, any help?

Is it normal to lose muscle memory as a beginner

i’m reworking on my minor pentatonic scales, but i’ve seen to lose muscle memory in some of my major and minor scales, that i’ve had to relearn, is it normal to lose muscle memory since your hands aren’t exactly fluid and can pick up things easily, or is there a way i can make sure my muscle memory is in check

Isolated Kings Piano Track?

i’m trying to learn kings on piano, but find it hard to learn with everything going behind it, i’m sure how simple or hard the part is in its entirety so if there is an isolated piano track that’d be appreciated, any additional info u have on the piano in kings definitely share away
