I just can't quite tell what the rules here are if I have both a move and change formation order. Seems like sometimes my unit will move then change formation, sometimes change formation then move, and sometimes will move and then stand there and just not change formation..
I haven't seen this specifically mentioned in any of the posts though maybe I missed it. But people don't seem to remember that before all the other candidates dropped out, the Berniebro conspiracy was that all of these other candidates being in the race were benefiting Biden, and that they were staying in the race to help Biden. It's actually hard to find discussion about this now because this line of thinking was dropped the nanosecond these candidates started dropping out. But this was the topic of debates between Mike from PA and Destiny, and led to them both placing bets on the primaries. I remember Destiny making the obvious argument that moderate candidates dropping out will benefit Biden, to which Mike from PA said that nobody thinks about politics like that, and that moderate votes will go to Bernie for reasons. I can't find that specific debate but here's a portion of a debate they had a week after these candidates dropped out where Destiny references this

Destiny: Remember when you guys were all making fun of the fact that people were saying 'Bernie is running against all the moderates' like it's one thing and that people dropping out of the election are going to coalesce around one candidate like that? Guess what happened? Exactly that happened

If you look through old Bernie subreddit posts (GOD FORBID I PUT THE NAME OF THE SUBREDDIT IN THIS POST) from just before Klobachar dropped out you can find much of the discussion is through this lens. E.g. this post https://i.imgur.com/lAWJseT.png is one of the few I could find that used the pre-drop out lens to then be optimistic when candidates were dropping out. Somehow Amy dropping out was briefly expected to win MIN for Bernie (he lost by 10 points, and then suddenly Amy dropping out caused him to lose)
They also ignore that a fellow moderate, Bloomberg, joined the race just before Super Tuesday. So on Super Tuesday there was an extra moderate (Bloomberg) and an extra progressive (Warren) who each got a similar number of votes
