I’ve had optik Tv and Internet for the last 7 years at my current address. My connection is copper in my building. I’m in the process of moving to a fibre ready area and have signed up for optik and Internet at my new location. The agent told me to bring my old equipment with me for the installer to collect when they setup at my new location.

But….in digging deeper it seems like all the new optik boxes are cloud saves only for 90days? Is this correct? Is it possible to have them let me keep the old box with internal pvr storage? Would this still be compatible with the switch from copper to fibre? I like the option of keeping certain shows for more than 90days…

What's the best way to contact loyalty. Do they have a number? I used 1-877-279-3100 years ago but not sure if that is the best way to go about this still.

Currently in BC and have copper internet and optik in a condo building that doesn't have fibre available. I'm out of contract (and paying far too much) BUT am moving to a fibre ready area at the end of the month and am hoping to get a good rate for internet and optik at my new location.
