Since my ETK 844x 250 was totaled, I went out and bought a replacement car. I decided to get something a bit more sporty than my previous car, so I got an ETK 854x 250tt, a rare trim that has a ttSport-tuned ECU, ttSport suspension, a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, optional AWD, and an optional GRUNT dual exhaust system. The one I’m getting is in ttSport Blue, and has both options equipped. The insurance payout on my previous car unfortunately doesn’t cover the whole cost of the new car, but I had enough money saved up to buy it with the insurance payout. The car has 72,490 miles on it, and all maintenance is documented. Hopefully this car lasts me a long time.

Some uninsured kid in his parent's Ardente rear-ended my car while I was stopping for a red light. He blamed me for stopping at a red light, and stated that he was the 'best' driver ever, and had I not stopped, he wouldn't have crashed. He had a top-of-the-line Ardente S 410Q Frisson before he decided to go 70mph down a public road and total it. My car is unfortunately totaled as well, but since I have insurance, I should hopefully be able to afford another car.

I found this lovely example of an ETK 854xc for sale at GEM Classics. It has the 6-speed manual, a rear limited-slip differential, and a white interior. Also present was a blue Rennspecht 8R with a factory turbo. unfortunately I didn't get any photos of that.

I met some colleagues in the Chinatown area in Belasco City for dinner, and when I was leaving the restaurant, a squatted D-series almost hit me (and my rental). Fortunately, my rental car and I were both unscathed. I am flying back to Firwood tomorrow to set up a server for the Belasco-Diesel engine manufacturing plant cooling system, so hopefully I won't have to deal with this nonsense over the next week.

I am currently traveling for work to Belasco City, California, working on setting up the cooling systems for the new Belasco-Diesel engine manufacturing plant outside Belasco City, and this is the rental I got at the airport. I've driven FCV platform vehicles before, but this Tograc appears to have been modified by the rental company to be locked in the 'Comfort' mode, causing it to bog down when I drive up gravel hills while I'm at the construction site. I've pressed the drive mode buttons and nothing changes. I originally rented out a full-size sedan, but this was the only vehicle on the lot when I got there. Remind me to not rent from Belasco Automotive Rentals ever again.
