What anime gave you that “I wish I could forget it and watch it again” feeling? 🥹

I’m looking for anime that really stayed with you after finishing them — whether it was because of the story, characters, atmosphere, or just the emotions it gave you.

It doesn’t have to be a masterpiece or super popular. I’d actually love some underrated recommendations! 👀

What anime gave you that feeling?

Four fantasy anime that feel like stepping into another world

Sometimes the best fantasy anime aren't the ones with the biggest battles or the strongest protagonists.

They're the ones that make you feel like you've actually stepped into another world—where the atmosphere, characters, and journey stay with you long after the episode ends.

These are 4 fantasy anime I'd recommend:

👑 Ranking of Kings — A beautiful story about courage, friendship, and growing stronger despite your circumstances.

🌿 Mushishi — Quiet, mysterious, and atmospheric. More about wandering through a world filled with strange supernatural phenomena than traditional battles.

🪄 The Ancient Magus' Bride — Folklore, magic, beautiful scenery, and a fascinating supernatural world.

🗺️ Kino's Journey — A traveller visiting different countries, each with its own strange stories and way of life.

They're all very different from each other, but that's what makes this list interesting.

What's one fantasy anime that made you feel like you were truly travelling through another world? 🌸

Some fantasy stories don't need saving the world to feel unforgettable.

Sometimes the best fantasy stories aren't about defeating the strongest enemy or becoming the most powerful hero.

They're about discovering a new world, meeting unforgettable characters, growing through difficult journeys, and finding something worth protecting along the way.

These four anime give me exactly that feeling:

🌿 Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit

🐺 Kemono no Souja Erin

❄️ Snow White with the Red Hair

🌳 Somali and the Forest Spirit

Each one has its own kind of fantasy, but they all put a lot of heart into their worlds and characters.

If you had to pick one of these to watch first, which would it be?

Not every fantasy anime needs an overpowered protagonist to be unforgettable.

One thing I loved about Zenshu was that it reminded me fantasy isn't just about big battles or flashy magic—it's about the journey, the world, and the characters you grow attached to.

If you're looking for that kind of experience, I'd recommend:

• Yona of the Dawn – Watching Yona grow from a sheltered princess into a determined leader is incredibly satisfying.

• Frieren: Beyond Journey's End – A beautiful, emotional journey that makes every moment feel meaningful.

• The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent – A relaxing fantasy with a mature protagonist and comforting atmosphere.

• Spice and Wolf – A unique fantasy adventure driven by clever conversations, strong chemistry, and excellent world-building.

None of these are trying to be Zenshu. They simply capture the same sense of wonder that made me fall in love with fantasy anime in the first place.

Which fantasy anime gave you that feeling?

Zenshu reminded me why I love fantasy anime.

Instead of looking for anime that simply copy Zenshu, I looked for series that capture the same feeling: getting thrown into a new world, growing through every challenge, and slowly becoming attached to the characters and the world around them.

My recommendations:

l. The Twelve Kingdoms

ll. Ascendance of a Bookworm

lll. The Vision of Escaflowne

lV. Magic Knight Rayearth

None of these are direct copies of Zenshu, but each delivers a memorable fantasy journey in its own way. If you loved Zenshu for the experience rather than the plot, these are definitely worth checking out.

If you could experience one of these anime for the first time again, which would you choose?

I've heard amazing things about all four, but I only have time to start one right now.

• Sonny Boy

• The Tatami Galaxy

• Princess Tutu

• Wonder Egg Priority

If you could erase your memory and watch one of these again for the first time, which one would it be—and why?

Just finished "Zenshu". Which of these should I watch next? 🌸👇

Loved the anime/fantasy vibe of Zenshu! I got these 4 recommendations and can't decide which one to start first.

Which one matches the Zenshu vibe best?

  1. Re:Creators (Fantasy characters in the real world)

  2. Shirobako (Inside the animation industry/studio life)

  3. Bye Bye, Earth (Beautiful action fantasy world)

  4. Beyond the Boundary (Supernatural fantasy romance)

Let me know your thoughts or any other good recommendations! Thanks! 😊

From Sword Fighting to Burger Flipping: Luke’s Hilarious Arrival in Natsuko’s World! ⚔️🍔

Hi everyone! Inspired by the hilarious comments on my last post about the fantasy characters working real-world jobs, I couldn't stop thinking about it. 😂

So, I wrote a second short comedy/romance fan script visualizing Luke trying to survive a fast-food job in Tokyo before finally crossing paths with Natsuko. Hope you all enjoy this 'The Devil Is a Part-Timer' vibe!

🎬 ZENSHU: LUKE'S PART-TIME STRUGGLE (Fan Script 2)[SCENE START]INT. MODERN BURGER JOINT - DAYA

busy fast-food restaurant in Tokyo. Upbeat, chaotic music plays.

LUKE—the legendary fantasy hero—is behind the counter. He is wearing a bright red employee uniform, an apron, and a paper cap that keeps slipping over his eyes. He looks completely stressed out, holding a spatula like it’s a sacred sword.

An ANGRY CUSTOMER bangs on the counter.

ANGRY CUSTOMER: "Excuse me! I ordered a cheese-burger ten minutes ago! Why is it taking so long?!

"Luke steps back, slipping into his fantasy warrior posture, holding the spatula high in defense.

LUKE: (Dead serious, shouting) "Halt, mortal! The sacred fire of the grill requires patience! Do not anger the beast of the kitchen, or the cheese shall not melt in harmony!

"The customer blinks, completely confused. The restaurant manager facepalms in the background.

EXT. BURGER JOINT - MOMENTS LATERNATSUKO

is walking past the restaurant, carrying a heavy bag of anime storyboards. She stops when she hears a very familiar, dramatic voice coming from inside.

She looks through the glass window and freezes. Her jaw drops. There he is. Luke. Flipping burgers.

Luke notices her through the window. His eyes light up. He forgets the angry customer, drops the spatula, and runs out the door, his paper cap flying into the wind.

LUKE: (Shouting happily) "Natsuko!! I crossed worlds to find you... and also learned how to fry french fries!"

Natsuko stands there, a mix of pure shock and a beautiful, warm smile breaking across her face.

NATSUKO: (Laughing through her tears) "Luke... what in the world are you wearing?!

"They share a big, clumsy, but incredibly joyful hug right outside the burger shop, while the restaurant manager yells in the background for Luke to come back to work.

[FADE OUT]SCENE END

Can you imagine the rest of the gang working other bizarre modern jobs? Who would be the worst at customer service? Let's laugh about it in the comments! 👇

My Vision for a "Zenshu" Movie Sequel — Resolving Natsuko and Luke's beautiful promise (Fan Script)

Hi everyone! I recently watched Zenshu and the open ending left me thinking so much about Natsuko and Luke. Luke promised to marry her and come to her world, and seeing Natsuko smile calmly under the cherry blossoms made me realize she was waiting for him with total faith.Since MAPPA hasn't announced a Season 2 or Movie yet, I wrote a short script visualizing how the movie should start. I wanted to share it with fellow fans to see if you'd like an ending like this!

🎬 ZENSHU: THE MOVIE (Fan Script)\[FADE IN\]EXT. CHERRY BLOSSOM PARK - Day

The screen starts with a soft emotional flashback of Season 1—showing Natsuko’s struggles, her first meeting with Luke, and Luke’s heartfelt promise to marry her before they parted ways.

\[CUT TO PRESENT\]

The camera cuts back to the final scene of Season 1. NATSUKO is standing under the beautiful cherry blossom trees. Pink petals are drifting through the air. She looks completely calm, smiling softly as if she already knew this moment would come.Suddenly, footsteps rustle the grass behind her. A figure steps into the frame. It is LUKE, now in a human form, wearing modern clothes.

LUKE: (Smiles gently, eyes filled with emotion) "Look, Natsuko... I kept my promise. I came to your world."Natsuko turns around slowly. She is not shocked. Her smile grows wider and more beautiful.

NATSUKO:

(Softly, with complete faith) "I always knew you would, Luke."Tears of pure happiness well up in both of their eyes. Luke steps forward and wraps his arms around her. They share a deep, emotional embrace.

\[BGM STARTS: A sweeping, romantic orchestral melody\]

The camera circles them as cherry blossom petals swirl around them in the wind.

\[FAST-FORWARD MONTAGE\]

The background music continues as we see a beautiful montage of their future:Luke adjusting to the human world, laughing with Natsuko at a coffee shop.

THE GRAND WEDDING:

Natsuko in a gorgeous dress and Luke by her side under the same cherry blossom trees. Natsuko's hair clip glows softly with Unio's magic.

THE FANTASY WORLD:

A glimpse back into the anime world. Luke’s friends are now living a peaceful, happy, and free life, celebrating their victory.

\[FADE OUT\]SCENE END

What do you guys think? Do you think Natsuko was smiling because she knew Luke would fulfill his promise? Would you want MAPPA to make a movie like this to clear all the confusion? Let's discuss!
