My dad has recently started trading stocks , he was taking tips from some guy on signal who has proof of being registered under the govt , he convinced my dad to do transactions on an app with NEPC on my logo . Over the course of the month he had gained a lot of money in stock . But then the app froze the account . Same happened to others in the telegram group . Everyone got a message to add a certain percentage to a new account or something (I'm not sure) to show they are not not accounts . My dad did it , and now we have already spent a lot of money .

The account unfroze and dad withdrew the money , the app's support team says the money will be added to our accounts in a few days but we have to add more money for the taxes on the profit , which sounds even more sus to me . I feel like he is being scammed big time but he won't listen to me , he says other people on the signal group got their money back . So can anyone advice
