Follow up on therapist

Hey! Not sure if you remember my previous post but I had therapy again today.

Not only am I not the first ficto they've worked with, they are also already familiar with soulbonding.

How do I keep winning?

Introducing this to new therapist

Labeled this as question but also open to discussions.

I finally decided to start going to therapy again! Yay! 90% of the stuff I want to tackle is impulsive spending and the cognitive dissonance I'm experiencing while being on a Glp-1 strictly for weight loss while also having fat liberation politics and beliefs (and minor stuff like accidentally becoming important and work and the stress of that, body image issues, lingering trauma stuff from my childhood I never integrated lol).

I had my first appointment yesterday and we clicked very well. We have a lot in common and I really like them. I've already confided in them I'm ace (part of I went with them is they are NB and more familiar with the queer community), and I'm planning to introduce the fictosexual micro label next session in two weeks because it explains the kind of ace I am better. But that does tie up a lot into the soulbonding as well. While not all my soulbonds are also FOs, there are some that are and they are an important facet to my mental health and improve my life.

When I was in therapy the first time I brought soulbonding up in passing and it was never really discussed again, and I am an adult with a job and a mortgage and on paper my life is fairly put together (debt issues aside). But after coming out to my boss, I feel like I can be a little more open. I'm also 35 now, almost 36 (compared to like 22 last time lol)

Thoughts? Reservations? Words of encouragement?

Wasn't quite sure how to search this in the group so sorry if this is a repeat.

My work does events on Fridays in the summer (first one is the pony races in June) and they usually run pretty late, and I don't get home until after 11 and we leave right from the office. I've planned to do my shots Friday evening (between 7 and 8). Do I take the shot as soon as I get home, the next day, the morning of? Or do I ask if I can leave work early, go home and do it around 4:30, and then head out?

Assuming I don't run into problems going to 0.5 from 0.25 that'll be my 4th shot at that strength, does that matter?

I probably can leave this particular event early, but I also really enjoy staying all night at the races.

Hi all, me again, still on track to take my first dose on Friday and I excited and nervous.

Especially since my idiot ass decided to also look into a mortgage refinance to pay down debt at the same time, even though I have until end of July until my actual mortgage renewal date.

But it's got me thinking about replacement behaviours. I highly suspect food like salty snacks are a form of ADHD dopamine seeking, and my other usual form of dopamine seeking was shopping. It, uh, hasn't gone well given the consumer debt I have to roll into my mortgage.

I've heard Ozempic can curb some of that and I have a few behaviours already like video games (anyone else addicted to Pokopia???) and reading. But I'm wondering if anyone has any advice, especially since I would often snack while reading. I don't want to get into this kind of debt again, and I'm honestly so stressed out about that process, especially when now Monday I have a property appraiser coming out and I haven't really done a deep clean in a while lol.

I just have everything going on all at once and looking for advice from similarly overwhelmed people.

Hi all, after antagonising on how to ask my doctor for a prescription, I got one yesterday and it went super easy! I start on Friday. I'm feeling a dollar coaster of emotions, but I'm posting to ask if anyone else if of a witchy/Pagan persuasion and made a ritual for their weekly injection. I'm thinking I want to make a little tea ritual for when I take it as I'm planning to inject Friday evenings.

My goal is mostly to feel calm and collected while I do the shot, and use whatever woo woo I can to help mitigate side effects and boost efficacy. I recognize that it is likely a placebo effect but still lol.
