Scary Movie 6 dropped this weekend, and not to spoil anything, because it's in the promotional material, but Dead by Daylight is outright used in a sequence. Not a knockoff, Shorty is playing as Ghostface and mori's Dwight. He even goes back to the lobby and has the Jim icon. The game is shown proper love and is done more accurately than any other "character plays a video game in a movie" bits. Sort of like a crossover promotion done tactfully.

And I mean, if I were to actually spoil something, >!Shorty is revealed to be one of the Ghostfaces in the film. So Shorty playing as Ghostface is a clever bit of foreshadowing. !<

And that got me thinking... what do you think of Scary Movie coming to DBD? What are the odds? Who would be the survivor(s)? And would they add more cosmetics to Ghostface?

Not for nothing, but the film just outright calls the killer Ghostface and uses a legit Fun World mask for them. He was unnamed in the first Scary Movie and the mask was always slightly off. Then Fun World incorporated the Wassup face from the movie into their actual masks, and DbD has said Wassup Face for Ghostface (because this Ghostface isn't the Scream version, which I guess makes him closer to Scary Movie lore than Scream? Which makes Scary Movie technically already in DBD? I just want the stoned Ghostface mask next.
