I want to start by saying that I really don't want this to sound like some annoying advertisement. We are just genuinely looking for new cult members to join our circle because we absolutely love music, especially drum and bass, and want to share that passion with more people.

We started a global Drum and Bass Discord server called DNB Cult, and we would love for you to become part of the family. Don't worry, we don't worship ancient deities, our only religion is the 174 BPM baseline.

We really wanted to build a space that feels less like a strict, corporate networking group and more like a warm, supportive family. We have members from all over the world, ranging from seasoned veterans who have been producing for years, to people who just downloaded their first DAW, to absolute superfans who just love the music.

Inside the server, our experienced producers genuinely love helping out. If you are stuck on a mix or need an honest opinion on a work in progress, we have got your back. There is no gatekeeping here, just pure support. We are big on lifting each other up, so we actively hype each other's releases, share promo ideas, and back each other on socials.

You also do not have to be a producer to be here. If you are just a fan, we want you too. You will get access to exclusive, unreleased dubs and demos that you won't hear anywhere else.

On top of that, we recently gave birth to our own record label, Baked Bass Records, which is the younger sibling of Full Phat Records. We started it to give our community's music the platform it deserves. Just to be completely transparent, you do not have to join the Cult to be part of the label. If you just want a home for your music but prefer to stay in the shadows, you can absolutely just send us your demos directly with no strings attached.

I’ve been producing music for quite a while now. I use Ableton and a dozen different plugins. Honestly, I’m shocked by what AI can do. Some people say using AI is bad, while others see it as a great tool. I tried generating music myself. At first, it seemed insanely cool, but generation after generation, everything started sounding like default melodies (just like that default AI girl who looks the exact same everywhere).
But I haven't completely run away from AI either. I use the AudioLab bundle and iZotope Elements. Does using these AI tools in my creative process make me a worse producer? If I can't create my own cover art and generate it with AI instead, am I no longer a 'real' producer who sits for hours over a single sound, tweaking every millisecond to make it sound exactly how I want?
These thoughts won't leave me alone. I don't support purely AI-generated music, but I use certain elements of it myself, and I'm really struggling with that. I'm afraid of being misunderstood

I’m using a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 4th Gen. I also have a Fifine T669 USB microphone, but whenever I switch to ASIO drivers, Ableton stops recognizing the mic. Having to constantly switch drivers every time I want to record something on the fly sucks. Is there any way to make both the Scarlett and the Fifine work at the same time without having to switch drivers?
