I've been thinking about trying to make my own postcards to supplement store bought cards for those who might like them. I have recently been playing around with my new stamp punch and assembled some pieces from a sweet frog advertisement over card sized watercolor paper. I haven't cut the bottom piece to size yet or glued anything down.
Do you think this would make a nice postcard?
Hi, has anyone been to the Fairfax (Virginia) Stamp Show? Would you recommend it to a new stamp collector (hobbyist)? I've never been to a stamp show before and am interested in exploring what is available. Thanks!
I recently learned about Postcrossing and have begun swapping postcards and became exposed to all of the beautiful stamps available. I'm wondering if most stamp collectors collect unused stamps or prefer cancelled stamps?

If you collect new stamps, do you put it on paper and then cut around it to save (e.g., in a binder)?

Are there recommended stamp binders (U.S.)?
