I tried using the Andrew Loomis Method for this one

Hello there,

I recently started sketching again. And this time I tried Sketching Lune from Expedition 33.

I usually just look at the image and sketch whatever I see. But this time, I thought of trying the Andrew Loomis method for the head.

I did find this method better than just drawing what I see, as it got me a more accurate drawing. But I still wander off sometimes and just drew what I saw.

This did take me more time than usual, around 3.5 hours.

I'll share what each step kind of looked like.

I am still lacking some good proportions here, and yes, I do look at my sketch sometimes and think, "wait, she doesn't look like Lune at all", and sometimes it feels like "Yeah, she's Lune enough!"

You can share your opinions on how this looks. And any critiques or suggestions are welcomed.

Thank you.

Hello everyone.

I wanted to share my sketch. It's Sophie from Clair Obscur Expedition 33.

I've recently started sketching again, and I am trying to sketch a little bit daily, or at least practice the fundamentals.

In this sketch, I haven't used any fundamentals. I just had the image on my monitor, and I just kept drawing.

Let me know how you feel about this.

Do share any suggestions on the drawing/sketching.

Thanks.
