Hello, I do appologize if this is redundant, but I have done many hours of searching and can not find my answer :(....

I have a 2017 Honda civic 1.5T touring edition. My turbo died at 123k miles. Honda wants $2,400 for a new stock turbo plus another $1,700 to install it. $4,200 out the door.

I purchased an aftermarket turbo because screw it right.... I know 0 about mods. I got a 27won W1.... I do not race, hust an everyday drive.

Question 1- Do I need to purchase a tune? If I dont will it kill the engine?

Question 2- I am looking at the ktuner 1.2 would I run basemaps or the stage 1 tune from TSP?

Thank you for your input I do not mod my vehicles so bo clue what I am doing.
