High school life in nyc how it compares to gossip girl etc

Hi all can I ask people who went to high school in nyc what was your experience like and how did it compare to gossip girl. We're their bullies and if so what did they do. We're you allowed phones in class or at school. Did girls wear high heels. Did anyone wear designer or what die everyone wear. What were partys like and was everyone drinking underage
Thanks so much

[Paddle Review] 11Six24 Jelly Bean 2 Pegasus

(pic is before I played with it)

Been playing with the Pegasus Jelly Bean 2 for a few days and wanted to share my thoughts!

This is the new Jelly Bean 2, the latest from 11six24, and it falls in the all court category. It's not a true update as this is a full foam paddle, and the old JB is a honeycomb design.

Personally I'm not a widebody guy, but this is what I got, and overall it was a lot of fun to play with.

First thing you notice is how soft and dense it feels off the face. Not hollow or tinny, more controlled and muted than that. That carries over to the kitchen too, dinks, resets, and blocks all felt easy to place. Control is really the strong point of this paddle. It has hexgrit, 11six24's durable grit, which feels great on topspin dinks and drops.

The tradeoff is pop. If you want to hit through people this isn’t the paddle for that. I noticed on punch blocks and hands battles it comes off slower. It just doesn’t generate much power on its own, so if you generate your own or are looking for a paddle with more control then this is definitely for you.

It’s a good all court paddle overall. I’d stop recommending it around 4.5+ where attacking speed starts to matter more. Below that, if you want something durable with a lot of grit and control, I’d recommend it without hesitation. It’s made for players who win with placement, not power.

The graphics and colors are also some of the better ones I’ve seen on a paddle recently - the purple and blue look awesome, and I'm gonna try to get one of those in a different shape to play around with as well.

Thanks for reading!

Spartus Spitfire Review

Just received my paddle and wanted to share thoughts! Got about an hour on the court with this one yesterday and I’m already a fan, especially for $99.

Feel wise it’s slightly hollow and stiff, kind of like an EPP Turbo. The grit is great too, really can put good spin on the ball. Feels super durable so far, nothing dead or worn yet, but I’ll keep updating as I put more time on it as it's in Tier 3 for John Kew.

Drives are solid, and dinks have great spin and control. Twoey dinks felt really good, didn't notice a lot of pop ups. Resets feel smooth and manageable, and hand speed is good for an elongated paddle. It doesn’t feel clunky at the net like some longer paddles do.

My biggest gripe is the handle’s a bit skinny, so you’ll want an overgrip on there. I’m also going to add some weight to the throat and sides to get the twist weight where I like it since it's so light.

Overall really liking this paddle so far and it’s in the running to be my main one. Will report back after more use on the grit, but compared to my current smooth paddle it's definitely a huge difference.

Gearbox GX2 Hybrid Review

Finally got my hands on the GX2 Hybrid, about a year late to the party since this dropped in 2025, but here are my thoughts now that I’ve had some time with it.

Feel: On initial hits, I liked it. The hollow, foam-core feel is immediately noticeable, and it’ll be familiar if you’ve played other foam paddles. Compared to my usual Loco, it’s not a huge departure, but it’s noticeably less stiff off the face. Dinks felt good with it, and hitting cross court 2eys felt pretty natural.

Power/Pop: Decent pop and power for a hybrid. Enough to keep up at the 5.0 level without feeling like you’re giving up touch for it. Hand speed is good without compromising too much on pop. Would need to drill flicks more to get used to the shape but they were there.

Shape: Flat top hybrid. If you’ve swung a Kosmos or an Ultre, you’ll recognize the profile right away, which is a plus if you’re already into that format.

Weights: I played it fully stock for this review, but my gut says this paddle wants tape on the sides and throat, as I would want more stability, especially on dinks. I’d guess that gets you a bit more stability and maybe some added control. Might update this once I test it out.

Price: Around $250 after code, so it’s on the steeper end. Worth it if the hollow feel and this shape are what you’re looking for, but it’s not exactly an easy sell on value alone.

Bottom line: Solid hybrid if you’re into foam-paddle feel and flat top shapes like the Kosmos or Ultra, with some room to improve through taping. The price keeps it from being a no-brainer recommendation for everyone.
