Buhurt brigadine

So I recently got my brig order in and was a bit caught off guard seeing that its individual plates instead of larger pieces seen from larger forgeries. Is this normal for buhurt use? At most is it dueling safe? I'm more used to seeing large plates and pain hit tolerance feels way more sketchy than I'm used to from loaned gear in my team. Did I make a mistake in my order expectations? Steel plated and in thickness regs for profight/duel standards.

32M Lifter - Small Full-Thickness Supraspinatus & Subscapularis Tears (Painless). Rehab or Surgery?

Hey everyone, looking for advice from lifters or physical therapists who have navigated rotator cuff tears in younger patients. I'm a 32-year-old male with a heavy weightlifting background and have been doing medieval armored combat (buhurt) for almost a year now. Heres what an MRI scan found which caught me by surpise:

  • Supraspinatus: Small full-thickness tear measuring 3.2 mm vertical x 2.5 mm transverse, imbibed with fluid. Fluid tracking along the anterosuperior margin.
  • Subscapularis: Small linear tear. Fluid tracking along the anterior margin (reflects tendinopathy).
  • No atrophy, muscle quality is clean.

The crazy part is I currently have zero pain in the shoulder. My daily function feels normal, but the MRI report shows clear structural issues no atrophy. Has anyone with a small full-thickness tear (under 5mm) successfully avoided surgery and returned to heavy gym lifting purely through physical therapy/compensation?

Will I be able to get into weight lifting or high contact sports normally again?
