What do you all do about the odor in the freezer/fridge as you are waiting for crystallization? I’ve noticed it lingers on every other surface in both, including potential food containers which is kind of gross
I’ve just completed my second try at this tek. The first one went fine and yielded just a bit under a gram from 50g of powder, so maybe 1.5-2%. I thought decent
Second one seems to be about the same results. Waiting for the last tray to dry.
But here’s the thing: The tek recommends 4-5 pulls. In the first batch I got the most out of the first pull, less from the second, and almost none from the third. And negligible from the 4th. On this second try I did only three (though I saved the soup pending advice from here).
Because I’m new to this I’ve been trying to follow the instructions very closely.
Is it really possible that I’m getting better extraction in the first two pulls than the tek expects? Or am I quitting too early if I just do 2-3?
