HHN was too intense for me and I feel like I ruined our trip

First time going and it turns out I’m a bigger baby than I thought. My logic was I would be able to manage it because I would be in a conga line with other people. I was wrong.

We planned on doing 8 houses but ended up only doing 4 because that’s all I could handle. We did ST, Jack & Oddfellow, Hellraiser and Ozzy. I had my eyes closed for Hellraiser while holding on to my partner’s backpack for dear life. I was so sweaty when I came out of that house, I felt like I had spent a day at the gym.

It rained that night so we barely enjoyed the scare zones before they were shut down. I’m willing to go back for the scare zones only.

Does anyone else just go for the scare zones and skip the houses entirely?

Accused of cutting when we were clearly in line first?

We got in line for Docking Bay 7 when a Karen behind us waited about 2 minutes after she got in line to accuse us of cutting. There's 2 people in my party and about 3 people in her party, but the other 2 stayed out of it. We walked past the front of the line to find the end of the line and joined. These people were coming from a different direction and clearly got in line *after* us. We were always closer to the end of the line, which is why we reached it first. Karen said they were "held up with something which is why there was a giant gap between them and the end of the line" I asked "And where were you? All the way back there is not the end of the line"

At this point Karen is insisting we move to the back and we told her she should get a Cast Member to sort things out if she felt so strongly about it. We turned around and ignored her and she kept talking to herself before she eventually shut up about it.

l've been going to the parks for 25+ years and never experienced anything like this.
