I made this blanket back when my nephew was born (2022) and it’s mostly been just sitting around my brother’s house since. Kinda (definitely) my fault because I failed to take the environment of where they live into account when I made it: they live in a tropical climate and it’s an acrylic afghan. I live in a much more temperate climate where such blankets are definitely needed and used in the colder months. But I learned from my nephew in a phone call yesterday that he uses it at pre-k for nap time and it absolutely made my day!

A Costco restock triggered the need to clean/reorganize. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. But it’s tons better than it was and I feel pretty accomplished.
