Boro duffle bag I handmade, my work mainly incorporates the use of African textiles and fusing them with the intimate techniques of Japanese boro to create a 1of1 art pieces! Instead of hand stitching I used machine stitching to get the affect.

Hello sub! Here are the details of a recent piece I made this year, crimson red boro piece which I mixed African rug textiles with Japanese boro to create this 1of1 garment. My work in this medium creates a diasporic world with the blending of these two cultures to make beautiful art pieces!
