How do I fit 2 dressers in this room??

My husband and I are moving into a new home that is currently being built. In our current home, we have 2 of these dressers- one with mirror, one without- and we have a lot of clothes and really need both! The layout of the new bedroom is different, and I'm worried we won't be able to fit both. I don't think we could put it in the closet either, due to lack of space there (the wall between closet and laundry room will have a door, so it's already going to limit closet space).

On the floor plan, the blue is where the bed will be, red will be where one dresser and I guess the TV will go. Would it look horrible to put a dresser under the Window, and use short curtains that hit at the top of the dresser? We do need blackout curtains, not sure if that would work, or if it would look bad? Not sure if i have any other options!

(Sorry, I can only attach one photo, so there's no photo attached of the dresser- I can put that in the comments if needed but it's a standard dresser)

Black or gold hardware?

I'm in the process of picking out design elements for a new build home. I have been envisioning my kitchen with champagne bronze hardware and love the way that looks. BUT- the design center can give us some things (cabinet pulls, faucets, shower heads) in that color, and not everything (door knobs/ door hinges). So we'd have to source our own door knobs/hardware, and then have someone replace all of those when we close on the house. Which would be obviously an added expense, but I'd be OK paying that if I loved the final product. The main problem with that is- I can not find door hinges to match for the life of me! I've tried a few different- brass, antique brass, gold, and nothing really matches, and I feel weird having hinges that don't match the doorknobs.

So- do i just go with black to eliminate all of this stress? Does it look equally as pretty? Or continue to stress out about hinges and hopefully find something that's manageable? I've included AI photos of what our kitchen will be like, with gold vs black hardware.

ETA follow up question- anyone have any clue how/ where to find matching door hinges??

Need help with cabinet colors for new build

I went to the design showroom yesterday to start deciding on colors for our new home, and left more confused than we started. We want something warm and inviting, classic/ timeless design that's not too trendy. But, we will be in this house for at least 10-15 years, so want to make sure it's something we enjoy.

The floors will be ceramic large plank light brown wood look tile, backsplash is white subway tile in a herringbone pattern, and countertops are white-ish quartz with tan details. We were thinking a latte colored maple cabinet color on the bottom and white on the top, with champagne bronze hardware. BUT we are probably going to get this paneling around the fridge (if not, you'd be able to see the whole side of the fridge on the side of the pantry, and we don't like the way that looks), and that paneling is messing up our design thoughts!

Does anyone have any thoughts/ recommendations on what would look best? Most of these are AI but the second photo with all white is from a house we found that has the same kitchen. The first photo (but the cabinets would be darker) is what i originally envisioned, but the paneling around the fridge is going to make that difficult. Now I think our next favorite would be the last photo of all wood cabinets except white on the island.

Nv energy bills with solar panels

Is anyone able to provide their monthly electric bills if you have solar panels? I am looking to purchase a home that has a pool and hot tub, and had Tesla solar panels that are paid off. They provided some of their nv energy bills, but they left my more confused- last August was $20 and then September was $200. I thought if there was solar we would just pay a small fee $20 ish to nv energy?

Help me pick a new cabinet color and shower tile!

Hi all- I may be buying this house that my husband and I love, but some of the design choices are things that I would not have chosen. The house is overall very "gray"- which our current house is and I'm kind of over this look. The kitchen has different color cabinets on the island vs the rest of the kitchen, which i don't hate- but I don't know if I like the dark gray color. That dark gray is also in the rest of the house- bathrooms, laundry rooms- so I assume I'd have to change all of it. Can anyone recommend a color that would complement the floors/walls/ rest of the kitchen, but may look better?

(I thought i could put multiple photos but I can only pick one- i will try to put others in the comments)

Na Pali coast boat tour- early October?

I'll be spending a week on a Kauai the first week of October. I would love to do a Na Pali coast tour by boat, but I'm a little worried about doing it at that time of year. A lot of the tour companies seem to stop running at the end of September, but there are a few that will still run at that time. I also get somewhat motion sick, so was thinking I'd like to go in the morning, as it seems like the seas are less rough at that time.

I was also thinking of maybe going from the north shore, as I had heard those were shorter trips (maybe less time in the boat in case I do get nauseous), but the ones I saw were still 4 hours in length.

Lastly, I've seen people say that morning tours of the coast aren't good because of the sun rising behind the mountains and casting shadows on the coast, so you can't really see anything.

Sorry that was long, but my questions are- should I go during that time of year? Is morning OK? And does anyone have a tour company recommendation, specifically for the north shore, and ideally one that runs on Sundays (i found epic hawaii adventures, but they don't go on Sundays). Thank you!!

Is the Book of Kells experience worth it?

I haven't seen any posts about this more recently than 11 months ago and I know things have changed there. We actually have it booked for tomorrow, but it would make our day a lot easier if we didn't go. I don't want to miss it if it's still really cool- thoughts?
