Do you judge a book by it's cover?

Hi book lovers,

Based from the title, do you get influenced by how the book cover looks like? I sometimes get "budol" by the book title and how aesthetically pleasing the book cover/design is.

I still read the summary at the back though as a consideration whether to buy it or not. But yeah, I am guilty that cover designs are still a selling factor. 😅

How about you guys?

Dreams are manifestations of our hopes and desires

Hi community,

Sharing my second dream this week about a random guy which I believe is a manifestation of my hopes and desires for my future relationship.

Question:

Have you ever had dreams with another person like it was so real. Even the feeling of the skin, the thump of your heart and left you longing?

I know it's just a dream, but for a moment it helped me remember what kind of love I deserve.

Dream:

I dreamt of another guy. Almost resembling my second ex. We had this conversation that he was always in a rush while I was slow and took my time.

What I vividly remember was while he was sitting and talking to someone. I confidently sat beside him and leaned my head over his shoulder.

Not thinking I was in a public place - he tilted his head and his short hair was merging towards mine.

My left arm was wrapped around his waist, playing with his flabs.

It was intimate.

I was even thinking dirty while I was touching his sides.

Then my aunt passed by and saw us in that position and made a face - a face of awkwardness and disgust.

But I stared back without batting an eyelash.

It was at that moment that I've decided not to hide anymore.

- End -

Kamustahan session of 30s & above

Para sa mga kapwa ko 30s and above, how's life so far?

As part of the LGBT community, pa share naman beshy on how you're navigating life within our age bracket at anong adulting challenges and strategies you used para sa tagumpay mo.

Sample questions sa baba, or if may time ka mag kwento, pwede mo sagutin at mag kwento ka lang ng mga scenario na napag daanan mo at napag tagumpayan mo, o nagbigay aral sayo na may mapupulot din kaming aral.

- Kamusta ang mental health mo?

- How about your love life bilang nasa 30s na.

- Nasaan ka sa career mo ngayon?

- Kamusta ang circle of friends mo?

- How's your relationship with your family?

- Are you now the person you've dreamed to be?

- Any regrets?

- etc.

Simulan ko.

I'm 37 years old, I broke up with my ex last year September pero I'm still healing and moving on.

Part of me, ako ang matigas ang ulo.

No judgement tayo kahit anong I share mo. 😊🙏✨
