Canadian hippy hedonist here who loves electronic music… is it a German speaking night tonight? Will they shut me down if they hear my Canadian (assumed American?) accent and only speak English? Should I pretend ive been here before and know all the stages and DJs?

Ive done some research on the stages that id like but i dont know if they’re indoor or outdoor

Wintergarten floor: house/garage/disco/soul/jazz (Dan Harris and Ben Gomori)
Dampfer: melodic techno and house (In Between)

Seriously though, we need water to live, surely every music festival out there should have a free water station, right? Does WOW have free water stations?

Also, can I bring in a large empty metal 500ml water bottle?

EDIT: I say this as I’ve travelled to Europe several times and many cities and countries are stingy about water… this isn’t controversial it’s a common observation that you have to pay for water in many places in Europe and asking for free tap water at restaurants and bars is frowned upon or awkward, or not proactively offered or available in a water cooler for pouring yourself.

Visiting from abroad, what do you think about renting a bike, locking it up at Slottsskogen, so that I could very quickly rip to the other Stay Out West venues to beat the transit/expensive Uber crowd to see bands like Sven Wunder and Iceage?

Iceage after Gorillaz would be amazing but feel like it will be the biggest and most popular show after them… thoughts?

Is it safe to lock a bike at the fest? Safe to ride back “downtown” at night in the dark?

Do we expect massive surge prices for ubers and thousands of people all trying to hop in after The Cure and Gorillaz on Friday and Saturday?
