Lammas Information and Spellwork 🍞🌽

🌻 Hi soul family! Toad here. Today I crafted a spell to go with this information on Lammas. Lammas is a cross quarter celebration between the Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox. Lammas is known as a Greater Sabbat, which means that the date of Lammas Eve on July 31st is observed in addition to the dates of Lammas from August 1st to August 2nd. The word Lammas comes from the Old English word hlāfmæsse, meaning "loaf mass," a Christian harvest festival where the first loaf of bread from the grain harvest is blessed. Lammas is also known as Lughnasadh, as the Celtic God Lugh of light and fire is traditionally worshiped by Ancient Celtics on this day. Although Lammas and Lughnasadh have different historical origins, they are commonly observed together today as a celebration of the first harvest. The first harvest traditionally honors grains such as wheat, barley, oats, rye, and corn, recognizing the abundance that sustains our communities. Lammas is a wonderful time for making gratitude lists, baking homemade breads, picking berries or seasonal flowers, crafting poppets or corn dollies, volunteering in nature, taking a walk through a field of sunflowers, or playing competitive sports under the light of the Sun. Below is a Harvest Basket Spell with journaling prompts that you can use as a way to connect with the magick of Lammas.

🧺🌾🫐 Harvest Basket Spell

🌟 Tools

- Favorite Basket
- Favorite Plate
- Altar
- Solar Water
- Bread
- Nut or Seed Butter
- Jam
- Fresh Berries
- Corn Chips

🌟 Spell

  1. Begin crafting your spell by washing your hands with solar charged water. Solar charged water is when you leave water out to charge in the sunlight on a bright and clear day. You may also want to set your altar with a scent like floral incense, play relaxing summer music, and clean your environment.
  2. Prepare a meal to eat after your nature walk. You can make something like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with jam and any nut or seed butter. You can also plan to eat fresh berries, seeds, and corn chips. These ingredients – bread, berries, corn, seeds, and nuts are all ingredients symbolic of Lammas. Place the items for your meal on a plate on your altar. Underneath the plate, write your intentions for this spell on a piece of paper. Make sure your intention is written in the present tense, uses positive language, sounds achievable, and is progress oriented. It should reflect your desires and be phrased in a way that feels empowering and true. Allow your meal to charge on your altar while you go on your nature walk.
  3. Go on a nature walk to find one of each of the following items to put in your harvest basket. Be sure to gather all your items responsibly. Only collect naturally fallen items or gather items with permission while respecting local wildlife and sanctuaries.

- Flower
- Stone
- Seed
- Leaf
- Branch
- Feather
- Coin

  1. To charge your harvest basket, sit at your altar with all your found items in your basket. Raise each item you found above your head and take a deep breath to connect with its energy. Then bring the item to your heart space and whisper your spell's intentions. Once all items have been charged, you can hold the basket full of all your items in your lap while focusing on the senses. Think about something you heard, smelled, tasted, felt, and saw during your nature walk. As you get present, visualize absorbing all the positive energy created in this spell.

  2. Now cleanse your hands by washing them with solar charged water before eating your meal. With each bite you are nourishing your body with your intentions. Give thanks for the harvests present in your life and the seeds that are growing underneath it all.

📓 Journaling Prompts

- In what ways are you abundant in your blessings this Lammas?
- What personal achievements have you harvested since the Summer Solstice?
- What seeds of intentions would you like to grow before Autumn arrives?

Full Moon in Aquarius Information 🌙💫✨

🌝🦌 On July 29th at 10:36am eastern we will have a Full Moon. Full Moons are generally considered a time for gratitude, celebration, and power. The July Full Moon is often called the Buck Moon because it is the time of year when male deer begin growing new antlers. The Buck Moon is all about directing change to prepare for the future, while also adapting to the energetic cycles and shifts within nature. The July Full Moon can also be called the Full Moon in Aquarius. The Full Moon in Aquarius is a time to recognize the spirit of individuality, generosity, and invention within each of us. 🌕♒🏺

The Full Moon in Aquarius reminds us that everyone has different strengths, talents, and ways of thinking. We can honor our own ideas and perspectives while also being a part to something larger than ourselves. Our originality makes us stand out while our commonality brings us together. We learn to accept, enjoy, and work through our strangeness and weirdness as we see ourselves reflected in like minded people. None of us deserve to feel isolated or unsupported in a world so abundant with people and resources. Don’t forget, it’s free to be kind by checking in on others who may feel alone. We need to help each other feel included, like we all have a belonging.

The Full Moon in Aquarius can be a sign of technological innovation. Brilliant minds are shaping our futures through the field of STEM. As Aquarius is the water barer, the Full Moon in Aquarius warns us that we need to balance innovation and invention with humanitarianism and environmentalism. There is a lot of injustice hurting people across the world as well as destroying the environment. This Full Moon in Aquarius encourages us to do what's right, even if it means getting rebellious to fight for a cause. You may also consider volunteering, getting involved in your community, or doing philanthropic work to help and support the world around you.

📓 Journaling Prompt: How would you like to improve your relationship with technology?

Collective Reading — How do I open up more and express myself assertively around others?

Blessed Mercury Retrograde soul family! Here is a collective reading I wrote pertaining to the energies of self-expression, communication, and confidence. I pray you find this reading helpful, empowering, and resonant. 🔮✉️📿

Topic: Communication

Question: How do I open up more and express myself assertively around others?

Runes: Mannaz ᛗ and Nauthiz ᚾ

Mannaz is a rune about community. We are all a part of a collective where the good of one is the good of all. Share humility, respect, and kindness to nurture your relationships and strengthen your social network. We are all people with a shared humanity, a primal need to connect with one another. Build up social structures in your life by getting more involved in your local communities. When people have shared morals and values, this creates a belonging that we can identify with.

Nauthiz is a rune about necessity. We all have needs that need tending to, our self care is non-negotiable. It’s paramount that we balance out our work and life for our well being. Our health is not to be taken for granted. There may be a sense of lack or an unfulfilled yearning in your life because you don’t believe your skills, resources, or emotions can handle going through what it takes for you to reach your goals. You may struggle with a lot of adversity in your life and yet you also know it’s time to take steps forward towards your goals. It’s important that each step you take be realistic and sustainable. Move at a pace you can keep up with, but keep moving forward. Tend to your needs each time you are met with intense emotions along the way towards manifesting your goals.

Spirit Guide: Yemaya Reversed
Our past builds a lot of character and it’s an important part of the story but who you are becoming is where all the magick really lies. Don’t let the past hold you back from building your future because the time is now. In this very moment you are cocreating your manifestations with the divine, nurturing what you focus the most on. Do you dare to answer your calling, your divine purpose? It’s time to awaken to yourself and your true undoubtable power for you are an earth child of the divine!

Yemaya is oftentimes associated with the ocean and she may appear as a mermaid because like the ocean, the waves of her emotions can be warm, gentle, and soothing or angry, violent, and destructive. Yemaya likes to stay away from drama because she feels her emotions so powerfully. Yemaya is calling to you to let out all of your emotions for your own spiritual healing. It’s time to purge, release, and cleanse your spirit and open up your energy channels.

As Yemaya is associated with the ocean, she is also associated with the power of the moon as the moon pulls the oceans tides. The Moon is a planet in astrology that is usually associated with our emotions, feelings, intuition, and parenthood. Yemaya is the primordial divine feminine mother who birthed humanity. She is a fertility goddess who watches over pregnant women. It is often said that when someone dreams of fish that this could mean they are pregnant.

Yemaya wants you to claim your regal presence. Charge jewelry, especially those made out of crystals, under the light of the full moon for a glamour spell. Glamour magick can be useful for loving your inner and outer beauty. Don’t be afraid to let it all out. Let go, speak up about what's on your mind, and talk about what's on your heart. Your voice matters and you deserve to be able to express yourself. It’s not always easy to be assertive but doing the brave thing and stepping outside of your comfort zone shows that you are connecting to your own divine presence.

Journaling Prompt:

What do you know is your spiritual calling and how are you answering or neglecting this call?

All About Mercury Retrograde 🤍

🫂🕯️Blessed Mercury Retrograde soul family. Mercury Retrograde is from June 29th to July 23rd. Have you been having a rough time managing your emotions this Mercury Retrograde? Trust me, you are not alone. Learn more about how to manage the energy of Mercury Retrograde in the following reading.

In Astrology, Mercury represents our thoughts, opinions, information, intellect, writing, speech, listening, and mind. Mercury is the fastest planet to orbit the Sun, it goes around the Sun in 88 days. This is why Mercury goes retrograde 3 to 4 times a year. We can see retrograde motion with a telescope. Mercury retrograde is an optical illusion created by the difference in speed between the Earth and Mercury as it travels around the sun. Mercury appears to be moving backwards during a mercury retrograde.

Mercury Retrograde is currently in Cancer ♋🦀. This Mercury Retrograde is about following your instincts and intuition, the voice within that shows you the best way forward. Spend time slowing down and connecting with your emotions. Try not to be judgmental, be kind with yourself. Many astrologers associate Mercury Retrograde with heightened emotions. Some people feel more nervous, scatterbrained, anxious, or a little more shaky during Mercury Retrograde periods. Mercury is a planet that lacks atmosphere so it moves from very hot to very cold fast. Many astrologers may see Mercury's dramatic shifts in temperature as being symbolic of powerful emotional changes, like a rollercoaster of intense emotions. Mercury Retrograde could also be a learning period for you where you are taught new things about the way you can communicate with others.

This is a great time for home, hearth, and family magick. You may be redecorating or renovating a home in your life. Now is a great time to get in touch with friends and family. You may be throwing a party, family reunion, or other get together with loved ones. You may enjoy reading and watching documentaries more at this time. You may be feeling sensitive about this Mercury Retrograde. Try analyzing your habits, feelings, and dreams by keeping a journal. You may want to work with water magick by speaking your intentions into water before drinking it.

Are there any techniques you use to support yourself during mercury retrograde? I would love to hear from you in your reply to this message. 💫

Strawberry Moon Collective Divination 🌝

Hi soul family, Toad here! Today I felt drawn to deliver an oracle and rune divination to tap into the collective energy surrounding this Strawberry Moon. Let me know in the comments if any of this resonates with you. 💫🍓🌕

Topic: Spiritual Health

Question: How do I release what doesn’t serve my highest and greatest good?

Rune: Tiwaz ᛏ

You have the capacity to navigate through challenging waters with rationality and inner authority. Use your leadership skills to guide others with confident and strategic thinking. Tiwaz is a symbol for justice, honor, and sacrifice. This Strawberry Moon you may need to sacrifice what doesn’t serve your highest good to move forward aligned with your greatest vision.  You have the potential to succeed against your adversity.  Stay committed to your path, trusting that perseverance will lead you to victory.

Spirit Guide: Ala of the Igbo, Nigerian people

Ala’s name means earth, the realm we live in. She is the ancient mother, the foremost deity of the Igbo people. She symbolizes justice, death, mortality, and grief. She represents the cycles of life and the afterlife. Our deceased ancestors find comfort in her womb, the soil of the earth. Umbilical cords are buried in the earth to anchor our connection to Ala. Reincarnation is within the domain of Ala. When we pass away we are replanted into the earth as seeds. Ala typically reincarnates us in our same family groups with different roles. If you feel called to heal generational patterns, this Strawberry Moon may be a meaningful time to begin that work.

Surrender your grief to the earth. There are many different types of grief from the loss of relationships, opportunities, and lives. If you are overwhelmed by grief, trauma, or betrayal, take all the time you need to move through your emotions. It is healthy to grieve. You will release what doesn’t serve your highest and greatest good when you choose to face your grief head on while connecting with all the emotions that you experience. You need the space to grieve otherwise you will hold your emotions within and they tear you apart. This Strawberry Moon may be an ideal time to work on healing ancestral connections that have affected you in this lifetime.

Journaling Prompt: What are you ready to surrender to the earth for your healing?

🎱🕹️🎲 Cancer Season Games ♋🦀

I created the games in the pictures to reflect the Cancer zodiac sign. If you know a lot about astrology and want to give the astrology crossword puzzle a shot, I recommend doing it before reading the information I wrote about Cancer season below.

All About Cancer

Cancer is generous, selfless, and endlessly giving. They are loyal to their loved ones, always supporting, helping, and caring for those in need. Cancer makes an excellent parent, partner, and role model as they are a homemaker who expresses their love through acts of service. They aspire to create a safe, comfortable, and secure environment for their loved ones. Cancer is a trustworthy person who has an intuitive awareness of others wants and needs. They can be an empath with clairsenses. They feel into the lives and worlds of the people around them. They need to create flexible boundaries instead of building up emotional walls to protect their heart. Cancer is sensitive and may feel moody. They need to learn how to ask others for help and assistance in their lives.

Blessed Strawberry Moon Soul Family! 🍓

On Monday, June 29th 2026, the night sky will reveal a Strawberry Moon. Strawberry Moon is the name of the June Full Moon according to many Indigenous teachings. In Western Astrology, the Strawberry Moon takes place in the sign of Capricorn. ❤️🌝

The Strawberry Moon is usually considered a moon of humility, community, and diversity. It encourages us to respect that each of us are medicine keepers and we can all help one another.

When I think of the Strawberry Moon, I think of leaving out a bowl of strawberries on my altar to pray for love, belonging, and healthier connections in my life.

I hope that this Strawberry Moon blesses you with harmony, balance, and humility in your communities.

According to one Indigenous creation myth, long ago when humanity had just begun to populate the earth, we found fault in our diversity, criticizing each other, and feeling entitled over each other. We didn’t want to work together because we all wanted to fight to be the best even though it caused so much heartbreak. So the Creator decided to invent the strawberry.

The strawberry is known as the “Heart Berry” because it is shaped like a heart, holds medicine that supports heart health, and it has its seeds on the outside as if it is wearing its heart on its sleeve.

The Creator placed strawberry bushes at the base of trees and asked birds to carry them all around the world so that everyone could experience the heart healing properties of strawberries. When people began to taste this sweet fruit they were able to find love, acceptance, and understanding in each other. They were able to learn how to see each other at a heart, soul level.

This story encourages us to never leave behind those who are weak or sick, but to instead stand beside them, lean on them when in need, and to share leadership roles. We can go so much farther together, through teamwork, community, and appreciating our differences. Through the Strawberry Moon we can mend our differences and open our hearts to each other.

As we celebrate the Strawberry Moon, I'm curious about something. What are your favorite ways to enjoy strawberries? I really love my strawberries dipped in chocolate fondue. 🍫💝
