Told my friends I was thinking about becoming a priest, and they all laughed at me. How did your friends react?
I'm going to be honest, I'm not a very good catholic. I try to be one but I always go back to my old habits. Recently, however, I thought about becoming a priest, and it all felt so much easier to do. The idea of becoming a priest and guiding others to sainthood gave me the responsibility of being an exemplary catholic, and weirdly it all felt much easier to accomplish. I told my friends that maybe I should become a priest, and they all laughed at me. Maybe it's because they're mostly secular people, or most likely it's because I'm not as holy as one would expect a priest to be. Anyways, it left me a bit bummed out. How did your friends react when you told them you wanted to become a priest?
