Do you dress in scrubs or normal clothes for work before changing ?

I’m in the mind of thinking of getting scrubs to not keep scrambling for outfits. However, it also seems excessive knowing that I will end up taking them off anyway, only wearing them on the way in and out.

I was the only one to pass my exam in class now there is a retest being done

I passed my test with an 85 and none of my classmates made a 70 or better. I’m talking low 50s. They all were upset and demanded a retest from our professor. However, I am fine with my grade and studied really hard. I asked my teacher is she really going to retest? She says I possibly won’t retake mine but I told her that gives the other students an opportunity to make an even better grade than I did just because they retested. I’m not sure what to do here.

Does making comments back to preceptor make me look bad?

My preceptor was very nitpicky and she was catching attitude with me about everything. Also saying the same thing over and over when I already said okay or said I understand. It got to a point I just walked away while she was talking while we were turning over the room bc she was doing too much. I’m a firm believer of “ listening to what they say not how they say it” but my preceptor was not perfect herself and would blame things she did on me. I didn’t say anything terrible but I did get a tone back with her and got nitpicky back myself bc she had broken sterility a few times and I kept pointing it out and asking her “now how am I supposed to know that ?!” I’m only on my 5th day of clinical at my first site .

Preceptor said I gowned wrong but she does it differently

Well I won’t say “wrong” but I learned differently in school. I tried multiple times to gown in a different area (bed, another flat surface) than the back table bc the mayo was being used. I was taught not to gown off the back table. So I was never even taught to do this . She’s grabs the gown to put on, balls the gown cuff in her hand and picks up her gloves that way. I tried it and she told me I’m doing it wrong and marked that on my sheet for my teacher to see. I’ve never gowned off the back table and it def felt wrong but I’m being docked for it
