Beware of Sinabung's fake news on social media lately

Beware on Social Media!

Many pages on various social media platforms, mainly Instagram and Facebook, are posting the video of the Lewotobi eruption in June 2025, claiming it is the Sinabung eruption. What they don't know is that that eruption was 100 times larger than the one at Sinabung that occurred these days.

There's a difference between informing and seeking likes.

Hi, I wanted to share my Interactive Volcano Map with you. https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1xkJS3-SY2uDae6NzQ__s9SVaDP9o6cI&usp=sharing

I am an Argentinian who studies volcanology in a self-taught manner. About 3 years ago and I manage a Facebook page called "el Vulcanoso" And I've done updates on volcanoes all over the world, but my page and map are in spanish And on most of the volcanoes on the map, there's a link that leads to the latest update I've made for that volcano. I hope you like it.
