Looking for an MMO to sink myself into.
Hi.
Throughout my time in gaming I’m at a point where I want to find a game where I can enjoy the beginning of the adventure and truly sink my life into as a part time thing when I’m done with a lot of what the game has to offer one day or even really get into it when something big happens. I’ve tried ESO (still debating picking it up as I’m a sucker for elder scrolls but the gameplay is alright.), I’ve tried fallout 76 although not quite the same obviously but it’s kind of falling off on me, and black desert but just didn’t like it, the list goes on. One thing that really keeps me in “check” when thinking about getting in something like this so that “I’m too late” or that I’ve simply missed out on so much that is gently pushes the idea out of my brain but it always comes back to me because I really enjoy the genre and what it has to offer but I’m unsure of where to start, look, you name it. I’m open to some ideas as long as it feels engaging and with a world that feels alive. Im also a big sucker for combat, customization in any way whether it’s a home, outfitting, etc.
I’m open to any recommendations that fit my criteria, e.g, solid-good combat that feels like I’m hitting something, housing with customization maybe to even the extent of fo76 (would be a good bonus), customization in general, a world that feels alive.
