I just moved to Cambridge for an internship as an international student (Im not attached to a university). Do you know events or places you’d recommend to meet other students? That would be open to external people? Like, are there things happening in bars, or organized by external orgs?

Because of the rain any furniture/books/stuff that people left on the street on sept 1st is unusable now. As someone who bikes to work I can say there is LOTS of it. What happens now? I don’t think I ever seen that stuff laying around for more than a few weeks, does the city eventually takes care of it?

Hey all!
I recently moved in this unfurnished bedroom and Im gradually furnishing the place. Lately I’m feeling kinda stuck because I’m realizing that I can’t place any furniture against windows, nor anywhere near the doors. The problem is, in this room there are 4 windows and 3 doors (!?). (and a big radiator)
What do you think about it? I’d like to have at least a bookshelf somewhere, and maybe one more dresser but I really can’t figure out where to place those.
