Im ethnically nigerian and my entire bloodline is 100% nigerian, Due to life circumstances though i came out lightskin and i was born in canada. Recently i have spent nearly a year in nigeria and throughout that time i've gone to alot of different family events, random functions for extended family friends, etc and in every single event i've been to theres always one uncle that my family somehow knows thats extremely creepy😭 Idk if its just my family but theres always atleast one uncle there that is borderline predatory to minors and i swear everyone in the community protects their kids from him but also continue to invite him out to stuff and say nothing about it. Is this just me or is this like a universal experience??

Edit: For people confused on why i mentioned me being lightskin i thought it was important to mention since it explains why i dont have any prior knowledge of the nigerian experience in general and i forgot to mention it but out of all the younger women in my family he only ever targets me because im lightskinned or just generally because im a "foreigner".

Edit 2: by "due to life experiences i came out lightskin" i meant vitiligo, i should have just said that at the start but it was just a few large splotches at first and then over the years it spread so idk i just settled with saying life experiences

Hi, im a student about to go into university in a year and get my degree and im doing research about regulatory affairs and wanted to ask if the job is even semi-enjoyable? Or maybe its just neutral and boring but it could be worse?

I have a full ride scholarship for university and plan to move to a new country for it, i have an exceptionally high GPA, Been winning awards since i was 10 etc etc but even though im smart on paper i am absolutely horrible at math specifically, As in i'll have an A+ in every other class but a C in math and frankly im terrified of jobs that require math since alot of them do so do you use advanced math on the daily?

I also have someone funding all my expenses for atleast seven years but was unsure how long the schooling was? When i searched it up it said like 5 years but ive heard certain careers have short schooling times on paper and then when you try to hit the job market you find out you need 14 other degrees to compete with other people.

If you have any more detailed answers on this lmk:) Really thinking about pursuing this career.
