Carrie meeting up with Big's first wife

She looked absolutely gorgeous in this , but my god was she unhinged 😭 not only did she meet up with Big's ex wife behind his back to get more information about their divorce , she also decided to dress up like her by straightening her hair and changing her style.

My girl's insecurity ran so deep 💔, always putting herself in a competition with his ex wives.

What's the reason behind Mr big rejecting Samantha ?

Some people say it's because she's blonde and his type is brunettes but I think it's because they weren't that far apart in age , Big obviously had a thing for younger women ( Carrie was 10 years younger and Natasha was just 25),I could be wrong tho.

ETA : I didn't post this because I think it's unfathomable that he "chose Carrie over Sam" , I just thought it would be fun to see what the fandom deduced from this scene

" Papper covers rock "

Unpopular opinion : that moment wasn't so bad at all , Carrie isn't the worst for that.

Charlotte shared her engagement news and all the girls were happy for her and then she asked Carrie what her news was so she said Burger broke up with her on a post-it , then Charlotte tries to tell her " everything happens for a reason" to which Carrie replies with " well , papper covers rock"

It wasn't that serious.

Charlotte just wanted to have fun

Is it me or did we see Charlotte dancing and having the most fun than the other girlies ?😅, I love that scene where she gets drunk and starts dancing to " Doctor's orders"

How did the girls meet ?

If it's mentioned somewhere or in AJLT then please do tell me but what are your theories about how they met ?

Obviously it was through Carrie but I think it's interesting how they became 4 best friends because their personalities are so different and don't seem to have much in common with each other -aside from Carrie- to be that close .

Fav season

Which season of satc was your favorite ?

For me it was season 2 , I adore that season : the storyline , dialogue , episodes , drama , comedy , relationships , everything was perfect !!

I liked the story going from Carrie sad over the breakup with big , to them making up and then breaking up again and then seeing the aftermath of that break up all in one season combined . This was the season where I enjoyed Carrie and the girls the most .

Season 3 is a close favorite !

Least favorite SATC bf

Who's your least favorite SATC main boyfriend ?

For me it was Steve , I just didn't like his childishness and I know some people found him sweet and loving compared to the others but for me , he's a hard no .

Relatable moments from the girls

For me the most relatable moment from the show was when Carrie read about Big and Natasha's marriage on the newspapper and she brokedown saying " It's her , HER , she's shiny hair style section Vera Wang and I'm the sex column they run next to ads for penile implants." , I think we've all been there thinking similar thoughts.

And Miranda's panic attack about being alone after she got her apartment , what was supposed to be an amazing moment to celebrate was ruined by everyone highlighting how single and alone she was. I think that was a perfect exemple about how society breaks down women.

Was Carrie Male-centered ?

I guess this depends on what your definition of male centered behavior is but I'm on my third ( or so ) rewatch of the show and well , I don't think Carrie was tbh . Before meeting Big she had no issue dumping men who didn't meet her needs ( for ex the young guy with the tongue piercing) and even after him ( when she was with Aiden the second time around ) and she only was behaving in that sort of desperate way when she was with big ( i.e : ditching her friends to be with him ) , so I think her issue was the relationship with Big and not some personality flaw she already had , which she sort of admits during season 2 when she told Miranda that she isn't regular Carrie when she is with him .

(However , I'll admit that season 5 Carrie was the start of her downfall and the beginning of my hate for her )

I really, really, hate Steve ...

I honestly think he is worst than Big ever was , at least Big was a grown man and had control over his own life , was clean and never tried to change Carrie . The relationship between Steve and Miranda already started in a weird way , she didn't want a relationship but he kept pushing, even showed up to her appartment after she told him it was just a one night stand ( which is weird from him) , then invited himself to her hangout with her friends , and then throughout their relationship ( season 2 and season 3 ) he always made her feel bad about her success or her being busy because of her career , made her feel bad that she wasn't bending to his every desire . He had shitty drawls , he didn't clean up after himself , he was always whinning and being childish , he tried to make her have a baby with him because " it'd be fun" then begged her to get a dog and he didn't even take care of it ! . When it ended ( in season 3 ) he literally gave girls HER HOME's number !!!!!!!!!!!! THAT WAS INSANE !

I am disappointed that Miranda let the insecure part of her convince her to settle for him ( which turned out to be a bad idea anyways because he fucking cheated on her 😒) but I'm not surprised , the girls were constantly giving each other very bad dating advice .
