Stomach bug lingering effects?
Hello! So I've been on ozempic since February. Started on .25 and very slowly made my way to 1 mg by April. I've never had any negative side effects except the occasional upset stomach if I ate something too greasy. At the beginning of June I caught a stomach bug that my toddler brought home from daycare. I felt somewhat better after a few days so took my shot like normal. That was a big mistake because it wrecked my stomach!! I skipped the next week and then the 2 weeks after that just did a smaller .5 dose (which felt good no issues). It's now been more than a month since that stomach bug and I thought I was completely fine so I took the 1 mg shot this past Wednesday and once again my stomach is a mess. Sulphur burps, gas pain, diarrhea, some nausea. Is this how I will react now to 1 mg or is it possible my stomach is still healing even though it's been a long time? I don't know if I should just push through the pain and continue 1 mg in hopes my stomach gets back to normal or go back to .5 mg for a month or so. Has anyone else dealt with this?
