We're flying in from Canada this Saturday and wondering if it'll be okay considering that there's 2 new tropical storms forming near Hawaii. Not sure if this is super common or rather something to be concerned about. There's a lot of mixed info on the news so I thought I'd ask here!

hi all!
received an interview from a school only doing in-person interviews. i'm a canadian app and the flight is in sept during school and very expensive. would it be disrespectful to email the school on whether they have any possibilities for a virtual accommodation. I know it sounds pretty ridiculous and they wouldn't likely say yes, but just wondering if anyone has ever asked or done this before?

For the UPenn supp app, it says a 1000 word limit for every question. are people actually writing that much for every question or like whatever they think is adequate (500ish). i dunno why 1000 for every question seems like so much to me lol
submitted my apps on june 7th and still not verified, i'm getting stressed. is anyone else in the same boat?

I always see everyone's WAMC posts on here, so I thought I'd ask too! I'm a Canadian applicant and I'm applying for the first time this cycle. I'd appreciate honest advice or comments on what are my chances. I really don't want to apply again so I'm trying to maximize my chances this cycle. GPA is not that great so I'm hoping the rest of my app can bring it up. If you anyone has any suggestions on my school list, I'd appreciate those too!
GPA: 3.52 cGPA (first year was really bad and everything after was an upward trend)
DAT: 23 AA, 20 PAT (23 chem, 23 RC, 23 bio)
Dental Experiences: Shadowing at 3 offices, around 200 hours, also volunteered as a lab assistant at oral path lab for a year
Other experiences
- several leadership positions on campus in various clubs and organizations
- competitive dancer for 3 years
- over 200 volunteer hours (hospital, tutoring etc.)
