Kickstarter Price Depreciation

I am so close to pulling the trigger on the Titan Noir Max for my first projector ever. The only thing I am curious about if it ends up not working for me or I don’t use it as much as I thought how long will I be able to resell it for the price I bought if not a little more?

Also while you’re here commenting give me your thoughts on what 120 inch manual pull down screen I should get. Or just your thoughts in general.

The space I’ll be using it in is a fully light controlled basement. 3.3 meters of throw. I want to eventually use the projector for a golf simulator and projection mapping.

I am soon to be a first time projector owner. My max budget was 2 grand. But now with a tax return I’m expanding to 3 grand (maybe). From what I’ve read some people say valerion/titan may be overkill so I would really appreciate your thoughts.

The space: 90% of the time if not more will be in a fully light controlled space. I do need it to have vertical shift due to my mounting situation. It will be about 10 feet from the wall hopefully for somewhere between a 100-120 inch image.

The uses: it is mostly going to be used for gaming, movies, and a little basic projection mapping. In the future I would love to be able to use it for a garage golf simulator.

I originally purchased the BenQ x500i but without the vertical shift I would have to keystone and I read all about how that is a no go. I was set on the BenQ x3100i but with the extra cash I’m swayed to go a little bigger. The question again is if it’s worth it for my use cases or if the BenQ is good enough. Also what are your thoughts in general?
