Hi all, after such kind encouragement yesterday (thank you!) I thought I would have a crack at this challenge. I feel confident that I am a right-down but am keeping an open mind and experimenting when it comes to archetype, until I learn more. This is pretty boring compared to other outfits I've seen posted, but it is very 'me'.

This outfit is right in that my starting point is always, what is appropriate for my day/circumstances, etc. - this is pretty much non-negotiable for me although I am perhaps prepared to allow more of a spectrum than I initially thought. It is down in that this is a very comfortable formula for me, both physically and psychologically.

Although this colour is bold and I'm not typically, it is a favourite that I am consistently drawn to (since I was a kid tbh) and so happy it's been more available lately! I've seen it styled with light blue a lot lately so I chose these jeans to play with the colour combo in a subtle way. I think my approach here aligns a lot with the Curator archetype - instinct-led comfort within the context of the quadrant. No shoes even because I'm just puttering at home! :)

I am open to correction on anything I'm saying here! Thank you for reading; sorry it's long but trying to think through the process :)

Hi everyone, I am new to this group but have been playing with Rita's system for some time! I am confident I am a right-down Moonstone, because I always start with a consideration of my environment/occasion, etc., and then move towards how will I make myself feel comfortable in that situation - whether I feel I need a shield (wear black!) or to be really physically comfortable for an activity (sneakers/flats for movement) but am less certain of my archetype. I at first thought I am probably a 'gentle grace' but I wonder about 'sweetheart' (for example, maybe the sweatshirt and jeans is a little more underdone, or leaving off a belt to make things more comfortable - although relative to my casual suburb perhaps these are still a little *more* styled than my environmental average)? I also thought about Illuminatrix because I do love some pops of colour (e.g. striped rugby pattern sweater or the bold red knit tee) that stand out a little more, and I always incorporate small, sentimental items and personal touches like extra bracelets for a little sparkle, but when I see someone like Solange as a celebrity example, I am nowhere close to as bold (even correcting for her celebrity status!). I almost think gentle grace might be me when I'm not so confident but happy outfits are probably more Illuminatrix (e.g. a class dress, but in emerald; a minimalist outfit, but with layered jewellery that makes me smile). I'm not sure if others float around in their quadrants or tend to stay close to one archetype. I am open to any feedback and help with this and what you might see or sense from my outfits. Perhaps I am overthinking; it wouldn't be the first time! Otherwise, I just appreciate the group and the chance to learn more :)
