hi! i'm working to pick out mods for me and my bf's stardew playthough, but am really struggling 😭 pls give me whatever advice you have :3

how do i know mod versions/compatibility on nexus?

fav aesthetic mods? ones that don't overlap and give it an easier-on-the-eyes recolor

would it kill the vibe to not get item/craftable recolors too? i don't want to download like 20 mods just to have it seem cohesive...

farmer customizations? fav ones?

we aren't really interested in sve or anything like that, mostly just qol and aesthetic things!!
