Laser Removal and Tinting
I went with one of my best friends today to get her brows removed. She had them done by another artist years ago, and I know that they used permablend Brow Daddy pigments. I myself am a permanent makeup artist and esthetician, but know absolutely nothing about lasers. I wanted to get some inside scoop on the process, so I was excited to tag along. My friend has very dark hair, and lots of it. Her tattoo underneath was very grey (obviously). The removal seemed really great, of course it need to heal as I know some pigment can come back after a while. However her brow hairs got super bleached, and I can tell a lot of them are frayed and broken. I wanted to know when would be a good time to get them tinted, as I don’t want her to be left with bleached brows. Also I’ve seen multiple removal pictures on instagram and haven’t seen the hairs get so damaged. The pigment leaving the hairs- yes. But the damage is what scares me.
She used a Q-Switched Nd: YAG
