Do you guys think camping in the Lake District at beginning/mid October near a river will be good as I’ve not done it in the months coming up to winter yet and I will be doing it this time round

Me and the boys are all between 23 and 26 at work and we’re planning another camping trip, is it weird if our 50 year old supervisor wants to come with us as he has FOMO badly about it and was jealous about the stories we had to tell last time.
