Augments vetted too hard
Riot honestly did a great job reducing the amount of useless augment pairings they'd offer you, but it still needs some work.
For example I loved playing Briar, in games vs vayne I could go crit augments and one shot her cause I'd never be able to tank her. Now riot has vetted crit augments out of briar's pool almost entirely, and i'm left only with bonk (which wants me to play a crit build!) and tank augments that doom me in that situation too. Somehow riot determined Briar wouldn't like crit healing and got rid of it from her pool, and it's entirely killed the champion
The changes to ability augments were really good, but please go back to the old pool for the non ability augments as it is narrowing fun gameplay and situational adaptive builds ruining some champions.
